Health Data

Engagement, research, and analysis.

WHR is a non-profit organization founded on the principle that health should be engaging and accessible to the individual. We analyze health data and disseminate knowledge to help the public make informed decisions about their health. We specialize in the areas of big data analysis, data collection, game design and development, and behavioral health economics. Our goal is to improve the health of communities across the United States.

Data Analysis

Statistical Analysis and Machine Learning

Our team leverages mathematical models to analyze big data. We perform and publish academic research in behavioral economics, statistical analysis, visual pattern recognition, cluster analysis, optimization, and more. See our recent analysis of hopsital pricing data which won 2nd place in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Hospital Price Transparency Challenge.

Our publication will be available soon!

Engagement

Using game theory to drive engagement

We use gamification techniques such as storytelling, personalization, and immediate feedback to drive user engagement. We also create serious games for health, learning, and behavior change. We are excited to announce that we are the first place winner of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Games to Generate Data Challenge and the recipient of $100,000!

A new version of our game is currently in production, but you can see our winning slide deck here.
